Could it be? . . .

A sign of spring that I see?

After the snow melted, I saw this in one of my flowerbeds over the weekend-

Yes, my daffodils were peeking at me! These are a very early variety, but oh how I needed a sign of brighter days ahead!  I'm getting over a yucky head cold that has ZAPPED my energy for the past few days

I don't want to complain about winter . . . if we didn't go through winter, spring wouln't be half as wonderful! God's plan for the seasons is perfect and I'm thankful that I live in an area in which I can enjoy all four seasons, but I have to admit, winter is not my favorite! For me, it's a tie between fall and spring.

I can't wait for better weather to be able to spend some time on our screened porch! I know many of you have already seen my porch, but I'm joining Jill  for her first Porch Club Monday -

When we moved here, this porch was the first project we tackled. I had always wanted a screened porch! We did a lot of the work ourselves and it was definitely done on a budget. I live out here spring through fall!

Now, I PROMISE no more spring themed posts for a while . . . maybe.

My first visit to your blog. I, too, have a brand new screened in porch that I can't wait to use this spring and summer. I've used it some this winter when the days are warmer than usual.

I can't wait to see those beautiful signs of spring in my flower beds but that's not going to be for awhile considering we are expecting another 30 cm of snow coming our way over the next 2days. But soon enough spring will be here!
Love your porch it's nice to have some place to go that is peaceful!

What a lovely space you have lovingly created ... how nice to be able to sit out in the evenings {my favorite time} and NOT get eaten alive by the bugs! ... so much room here, I imagine the whole family enjoys it!

Thanks for sharing your 'spot' and meeting us all here at porch club ; )

Hi Mandy,

What a great screened in porch...it's just another room in the house is how it looks. :0) That's the way I want mine to look. I'd like to screen in a few small sections of mine..there's just something about a screened in porch that sets the tone for harmony.

I'm visiting for Porch Club Monday. I'd love to have you visit me on my porch!

Hugs,
Stephanie ♥

Love your screened porch, Mandy! We have a million gazillion mosquitoes in our back yard during the Summer which makes it hard to enjoy our deck. I would love to have a screened area to make the outdoors a little more tolerable. I bet it's nice and cool in there too with the fans. I can't wait for Spring either. Winter is overrated!! LOL

I WANT YOUR PORCH!! Such a nice space to sit and enjoy your surroundings. I know this is on my someday to-do list!

Can't believe those dafodils are coming up. We had "spring-like" weather last week now we're in a snow storm. LOL That's Nebraska for ya!

We love our porch, but we often wish we had a screened in porch, as well. I bet you love spending time there.

Yay, there is an end to winter in sight! I am looking forward to spring too.

What a nice porch you have to enjoy when it begins to warm up outside.

I do love that screened porch of yours! And I'm jealous that you're already seeing signs of spring. We're far from that up north here!
